One system for orders, inventory, listings, purchasing and shipping across marketplaces, storefronts and EDI retail.

One of the few multichannel systems that handles marketplace and EDI retail orders in the same place, though the jump from the free tier to the first paid plan is steep for sellers under a thousand orders a month.

Pros

  • Marketplace orders, direct storefront orders and EDI wholesale orders are managed in one workflow instead of two systems
  • Inventory is pooled across channels, so a sale on one marketplace decrements availability everywhere else
  • Purchasing, receiving and forecasting are included, which most order management tools leave to a separate system
  • The free tier is a real working account with all features up to a monthly order allowance, not a time-limited trial
  • Month-to-month billing on the standard plans, with no long-term contract outside enterprise agreements

Cons

  • EDI connections carry a one-time setup fee per trading partner, and a retailer programme can need several
  • Bulk editing and catalogue management are the weakest parts of the interface according to reviewers, and large listing updates feel laborious
  • The step from the free allowance to the first paid plan is a large jump for a seller doing a few hundred orders a month

What Goflow actually does

Goflow is an operating system for sellers whose orders arrive from more than one place. Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Target, TikTok Shop, a Shopify storefront and, importantly, wholesale retail partners trading over EDI all feed into a single order queue, and the inventory behind them is one pool rather than a set of channel-specific allocations that drift apart. When a unit sells on one marketplace, availability drops everywhere else, which is the failure mode that costs sellers their account metrics when they try to run several channels from spreadsheets.

Around that core the platform covers the rest of the operational cycle: listing creation and catalogue management pushed out to connected channels, purchasing and receiving against suppliers, demand forecasting from sales history, warehouse transfers between locations, shipping with the major carriers and 3PL workflows, returns, and reporting across all of it. The distinguishing capability is EDI. Selling into a large retailer means exchanging purchase orders, advance ship notices and invoices in their required format, and most order management tools either ignore that or hand it to a separate integrator. Goflow treats a retail purchase order as another order type in the same queue as a marketplace sale.

Key features

The modules that matter in daily operations:

  • Unified order management across marketplaces, direct storefronts and EDI wholesale channels
  • Pooled inventory with automatic cross-channel sync and inter-warehouse transfers
  • Listing creation and catalogue management distributed to connected channels
  • Purchasing, receiving and demand forecasting against historical sales
  • Shipping and label generation with major carriers, plus 3PL fulfilment workflows
  • Reporting on orders, inventory position, channel performance and margin

Who it's for

Goflow suits a seller past the point where channels can be managed individually: several marketplaces plus a storefront, more than a few hundred orders a month, inventory in one or two warehouses or with a 3PL. It is especially well matched to brands adding wholesale to a direct business, because the EDI capability removes the usual choice between hiring an integrator and refusing retail accounts. Third-party logistics operators and fulfilment teams handling multiple client catalogues also fit the design.

It is over-specified for a single-channel Shopify store, where the platform's own tools plus a shipping app cover everything Goflow would. It is also an awkward purchase in the gap between the free allowance and the first paid tier: a seller doing several hundred orders a month either fits inside the free plan or pays a substantial monthly fee, with nothing in between. Teams that spend their days doing bulk listing edits should test that specific workflow before committing, since it is the most consistently criticised part of the interface.

How it compares

Linnworks covers similar multichannel ground with a longer track record in the UK and Europe, but its interface shows its age and setup takes longer. Cin7 leads with inventory and light manufacturing and is stronger for brands with production, while its order routing is less marketplace-native. Skubana, now Extensiv Order Manager, is the closest philosophical match with strong automation rules and analytics, priced at a higher floor and generally aimed at larger operations. Against all three, Goflow's advantages are EDI handling inside the same workflow and a genuinely usable free tier; its weakness is the shallow bench of bulk catalogue tooling.

Verdict

Goflow is a well-built multichannel system that earns its place when a seller's problem is coordination rather than volume alone: too many channels, one inventory, and a wholesale account waiting on an EDI connection nobody wants to broker. Reviewers consistently praise both the interface and the support team, and the free tier lets an operator verify the sync behaviour with real orders before paying anything. Weigh the costs honestly before signing: per-connection EDI setup fees add up across a retailer programme, bulk catalogue editing is laborious, and the pricing ladder has a large first step. For sellers already living in three marketplace dashboards, that step is usually cheaper than the errors it prevents.
